Wire Center Associate II

As our Wire Center Associate II, here are some of the duties the position will be doing:
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Accurately cut, label, and package wire per customer orders
- Load and unload materials; complete receiving documention
- Safely operate wire-cutting machines and related tools
- Stage and store materials in designated areas
- Conduct quality inspections on wire products
- Assist with inventory tasks, including cycle counts and replenishment
- Support process improvement and maintain a clean workspace
- Follow all company safety policies and promptly report any damage
Here are other things that are REQUIRED for the position:
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills
- Basic computer skills
- Pass Forklift certification training
- Detail-oriented
- Previous experience in a wire center, utility, electrical, and/or distribution or production environment is preferred
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively with other team members
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
- Ability to reach and stretch without personal injury
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Ability to work Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
