Warehouse Associate III (Shipping and Receiving Lead)

Come join one of the fastest growing independently owned distributors in Northern California. We are looking for a full-time Warehouse Associate III (Shipping and Receiving Lead) to join our and support our branch in Hayward, CA.  

The Warehouse Associate III (Shipping and Receiving Lead) is responsible for inspecting and ensuring quantity, matching product to Sales Order, and inventory adjustments.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Provide direction, mentorship, training guidance and day-to-day management of team.
  • Identify roadblocks, escalate issues, and support issue resolution.
  • Inspect material to verify quantity and product match the associated Sales Order.
  • Inspect material for visible damage.
  • Review and/or process Inventory Adjustments for warehouse.
  • Label and stage material for Shipping.
  • Point of contact for inventory discrepancies.
  • Ensure label is clear and visible.
  • Clean shelves, racking and aisles as needed.
  • Assemble/install equipment on picked material based on order requirements.
  • Use Material Handling Equipment as needed to complete job tasks.

Education and/or Experience:

  • 3 years industry experience in shipping and receiving preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, as determined by the company.
  • Familiarity with warehouse and delivery operations.

  • Ability to lift 70 lbs or more
  • Ability to reach and stretch without personal injury
  • Must be able to pass a drug test
  • Ability to work 1:00pm to close
